Alan Leaver has 40 years of experience working in oil and gas exploration and geophysical services. His experience with Amoco and Talisman Energy is directly applicable to the Company’s specific geological focus on formations in Ontario. He has drilled over 20 successful wells in these formations. Alan was the founder and President of Signature Geophysical Inc. which he expanded from Canada into the United States and later took public on the NASDAQ stock exchange (Quantum/Geokinetics). Alan was also on the Board of Directors and served as President of the Ontario Petroleum Institute. Alan holds a BSc and MSc in theoretical physics from Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario.
Phil Goulding

Phil maintains a focus on strategy, commercial decisions, and finance. Phil has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector. Phil worked as Chief Commercial and Chief Financial officer at Allegheny Energy where he designed and executed a major turnaround. As Vice President and Partner at LEK Consulting, Phil led the North American Energy Practice. He also held senior management positions at Shell Oil Company where his ideas were responsible for the creation of two multi-billion dollar oil and gas joint ventures (Altura Energy, Ltd and Aera Energy, LLC). Phil was responsible for creating the seismic interpretation systems that Shell used to find many of their deep water Gulf of Mexico discoveries. Phil holds BS degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Duke University, a Master of Finance degree from the University of Houston, and completed Harvard Business School’s executive management program.
Danielle Deemer

Danielle maintains a focus on exploration, development, and production. She has 20 years experience in the energy industry. She began her career as an exploration geologist at ExxonMobil working on exploration and production projects in Midland Basin, Gulf of Mexico, Niger Delta, Chad, and the North Sea. As Subsurface Manager of Talisman Energy/Repsol’s Marcellus Shale asset, Danielle was instrumental in transforming a five well exploration program into a major development program producing over 700 million cubic feet of gas per day. Danielle has extensive technical experience in structural analysis, petrophysics, and geophysics for prospect generation, well placement, and production optimization. She has held management roles in geology, geophysics, and reservoir engineering overseeing technical teams and executing exploration and development strategy. Danielle has a M.S. degree in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. degree in Biology, magna cum laude, from Grove City College.
Laura Pegula

Laura Pegula is a partner and Board Member responsible for board-level guidance and oversight. Laura manages Geology and Government Affairs at JKLM Energy Company. Previously, she worked at East Resources, with her father, Terry Pegula, and helped to grow the family owned business until it was sold to Royal Dutch Shell for $4.7 Billion. Laura represents the family on the Board of Trustees of Penn State University and on the National Petroleum Council. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Geology from University of Pittsburgh
Paul Evanson

Board Member and Advisor
Paul Evanson is a partner and Board Member responsible for board level guidance and oversight. Paul is the retired Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Allegheny Energy. He is a minority owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers where he has served on the the organization’s Board of Directors. Paul is also a minority owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Miami Marlins. Paul is a Trustee of St. John’s University. He received a B.B.A. degree from St. John's University, magna cum laude, and received a law degree (J.D.) cum laude, from Columbia University, and later a master's degree (LL.M) from New York University.
